WORKCRAFT was created by Josh Cole in 2023. WORKCRAFT comes from a curiosity regarding architecture, furniture and other things. The work is an opportunity to explore where these interests intersect with broader ideas of occupation, dwelling and cultural narratives. The design of each project utilises elements that facilitate our everyday use, to create outcomes that are respectfully contextual and spatially rich.
WORKCRAFT practices primarily on Wurundjeri Land in the Kulin Nation (Naarm/Melbourne), however, I would like to pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the true owners of the land. I acknowledge their deep connection to country, land and the waters on which we gather, and pay our respect to the elders past and present.
Josh Cole is a Masters of Architecture Graduate from the University of Melbourne, having previously received a Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Construction Management (Honours) from Deakin University.
