WORKCRAFT was created by Josh Cole in 2023. WORKCRAFT stands for work with a curiosity regarding architecture, furniture and other things.
WORKCRAFT takes each project as an opportunity to better understand how we live - how personal narratives and daily rituals shape the way different spaces are used. These nuances form the form the foundation of a layered design approach - balancing utility, play, and intention - to produce work that is both contextual and spatially rich.
WORKCRAFT practices primarily on Wurundjeri Land in the Kulin Nation (Naarm/Melbourne), however, I would like to pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the true owners of the land. I acknowledge their deep connection to country, land and the waters on which we gather, and pay our respect to the elders past and present.
Josh Cole is a Masters of Architecture Graduate from the University of Melbourne, having received a Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Construction Management (Honours) from Deakin University.
